The judges' scorecards after five rounds were 58-57, Whittaker 58-57, Cameron, and 58-58. The fight ended in a highly controversial split draw. Whittaker looked sharp, elusive, and relaxed in the first two rounds, but Cameron came on strong, taking control of the fight in the third, fourth and fifth rounds before the bizarre ending. It will be announced shortly. Cameron has signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren of Queensbury Promotions, who stated, "He will be pushing to secure an immediate rematch".
