Derek Chisora is already planning a big showdown with Daniel Dubois for heavyweight glory later this year.

Highly ranked with the IBF, Chisora could maneuver his way into a world title shot this summer against their current ruler, Dubois.

After losing to Tyson Fury in 2022, many within the boxing industry believed Chisora’s hopes of securing a world title were gone forever, but could he be about to receive one more opportunity?

Since losing to Fury, Chisora has registered three wins with Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin his most recent successes.

That has allowed the London man to climb the rankings and a contest with Dubois could take place at some point in 2025.

Dubois is still hopeful he can land a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk and there’s also the possibility of facing Anthony Joshua for a second time.

Chisora is already planning for a bout with Dubois, and he’s given his verdict on how he must approach the fight.

“Daniel is peaking right now. Daniel is on fire,” said Chisora when speaking to The Ring.

“If you let him take the first two rounds, he's going to destroy you. He's one of those fighters that if you just let him come out the gates without maintaining him, you’re in trouble.

“So, when we fight Daniel the first two rounds are very crucial to us. We have to discipline him in the first two rounds so he goes back in his shell. After that, let’s see what happens.”
