A few boos rang out as the scorecards were read out at 97-94 Victor Loughlin, 96-95 Lee Every and 96-94 Mark Lyson in favour of Vuong, who had to battle through many uncomfortable moments throughout the fight. Eddie Hearn Matchroom Boxing promoter assured Gwynne that he would get a rematch at some point in 2025.

Hamza Uddin defeated Benn Norman 59-56 in a six-round flyweight fight, displaying flashes of class to demonstrate a bright future ahead.
