Ryan Garcia has shared the ring with many big hitters, and he knows what it feels like to be floored.

The popular Californian has impressed during his climb up the rankings, and he will return to action on May 2nd when he headlines a huge show in New York City with Rolly Romero in the opposite corner.

Victory for Garcia could set up a second meeting with Devin Haney who will be in action on the same event with Jose Ramirez, a former unified world champion, in the opposite corner.

Last year, Garcia and Haney participated in one of the year’s biggest fights and it was Garcia who took the nod after dropping Haney three times.

The celebrations didn’t last long as the result was later changed to a ‘No Contest’ after it was revealed that Garcia had failed a drugs test.

Garcia is insistent that he will bounce back from that setback and if he moves past Romero, as expected, Haney will be in his sights.

Now something of a veteran after fighting at a high level for such a long time, who does Garcia consider the biggest puncher he has ever shared a ring with?

The social media superstar has been dropped by Gervonta Davis and Luke Campbell, but neither man comes into the conversation when he discusses his most powerful rivals.

“That’s probably Romero Duno. Even though I knocked him out in a minute, when he touched my back it felt like I was getting hit by a rock,” said Garcia when speaking on the matter with Talksport.

“And then Oscar Duarte, he hit hard. He had hands of stone, that s**t hurt. So those are the two hardest punchers that I remember.”
